Who seems to be at risk for Covid 19?  It is clear that this virus has a bias towards the elderly, obese, and individuals with darker complexion….but why?  Places with more air pollution were hit harder, and we have seen a potential slow down in severity with a season change (as people have been able to spend more time outside, soaking up the sunshine)!  What do all of these things have in common?

Tip #2 is a supplement that EVERYONE should be on, especially if you have a darker complexion, are over the age of 65, or struggle with weight management.  Taking this supplement is vital in the winter months and has been shown in many studies to have a positive impact in the prevention of influenza like illnesses and respiratory complications.  This vital nutrient has been shown to be low in individuals with severe complications of Covid 19, and its deficiency could be a causal factor in respiratory distress.  Even the former CDC Chief, Tom Frieden says this Vitamin could be beneficial in mitigating the effects of this virus.  By the way, did you know the American Heart Association is now saying that being deficient in this crucial vitamin is actually a risk factor for Hypertension?! *see link below*
